Team with 3+ Runs in the Most Innings
Use this guide to determine which team scored 3 or more runs in the most innings in a season.
From the MLB homepage, hover over Analyze and select Research Procedures.
Then select Team Innings With Runs (since 1901).
At this screen, enter the following:
- Runs Scored or Allowed -> Runs Scored
- Minimum Runs -> 3
- Season Type -> Regular
- Minimum Season -> 2024
- Maximum Season -> 2024
Click Execute.
The results show Milwaukee leads MLB by scoring 3+ runs in 97 innings throughout the 2024 season.
Adjust the number of runs scored, season type, and season range as necessary to retrieve similar reports.
Batter Event Streaks
Most Plate Appearances Without a Hit
Use this guide to determine which position player has the longest active streak of plate appearances without a
hit.
From the MLB homepage, hover over Analyze and select Research Procedures.
Select Batter Event Streaks (since 1974).
At this screen, enter the following:
- Statistics -> Hits
- With or Without Stat -> Without Stat
- Show AB/PA -> Plate Appearances
- Minimum Streak -> 5 (This helps speed up the program)
- Streak Status -> Active (For players with an active streak)
- Season Type -> Regular
- Roster Status -> Active (For players on an active MLB roster)
- Position -> Non-Pitchers (For position players)
Click Execute.
The results for the longest active plate appearances without a hit is returned.
Most Home Runs in Consecutive At Bats
Use this guide to determine which Mariners player has the most home runs in consecutive at-bats.
From the MLB homepage, hover over Analyze and select Research Procedures.
Select Batter Event Streaks (since 1974).
At this screen, enter the following:
- Statistics -> Home Runs
- With or Without Stat -> With Stat
- Show AB/PA -> At-Bats
- Minimum Streak -> 2 (This helps speed up the program)
- Streak Status -> Active, Inactive (To allow all streaks)
- Team -> Seattle Mariners
- Season Type -> Regular
- Minimum Season -> 1977 (First season for Seattle Mariners franchise)
- Maximum Season -> 2024 (Current season)
- Roster Status -> Active, Inactive (To allow all players)

- Minimum Season -> Current Year (2024)
- Maximum Season -> Current Year (2024)
- Timespan -> Single Season
- Season Type -> Regular
- Qualifiers -> MLB (Batter is qualified for the season)
Click Execute.
The results for largest drop in batting average since the All-Star Break among 2024 qualified batters is returned.
Largest Home Run Home/Away Split
Use this guide to determine, since 1906, which batter has the largest difference between home runs on the road vs. at home (Road HR > Home HR).
From the MLB homepage, hover over Analyze and select Research Procedures.
Select Batter Split Diffs (since 1906).
At this screen, enter the following:
- Category -> Home Runs
- Split Type -> Home / Road
- Split Direction -> Split 2 -> Split 1 (Changes split order, increase vs. decrease)
- League -> AL, NL
- Minimum Season -> 1906
- Maximum Season -> 2024
- Timespan -> Total Time During Range
- Season Type -> Regular
Click Execute.
The results for the largest difference between road HR (213) and home HR (148) since 1906 is returned.
No Hitters
Last Time a Pitcher Had a No Hitter Thru X Innings
Use this guide to determine the last time Justin Verlander had a no hitter through 6 innings.
From the MLB homepage, hover over Analyze and select Research Procedures.
Select No Hitters Thru (since 1974).
At this screen, enter the following:
- Min. # of outs -> 18
- Player Id -> Justin Verlander
Click Execute.
The results for Justin Verlander's last regular season games with 18+ outs (6+ innings) of no-hit baseball is returned.
To sort by the most recent game click on Date – Opponent twice. Click the other columns to sort by team or innings pitched.
Note that this report only looks at an individual starting pitchers and cannot do combined no hitters.
