Frequently asked questions for the Images v3 API
How do I access your images with my API key?
To retrieve Sportradar's images you will need to pull a manifest file (for either action shots, players, coaches, venues, logos, or flags). Within each manifest you will find asset IDs (including syntax) for corresponding images located within each API.

What is your Premium package?
Our Premium headshots offer transparent backgrounds to simplify implementation. Visit our Image Provider Coverage doc to view Premium availability.
How long are your action shots available?
Action shot manifests and images are retained for 2 years.
Do you have headshots for coaches and managers?
Yes. Some coaches and managers are available in the Player Manifest endpoint for the AP, Getty, Reuters, and USA Today collections. The frequency and volume of these headshots varies depending on league and media day availability. See below for a sample.

Why are my API requests less for Images compared to other products?
The intention is for you to save each image on your end as requests are made, reducing the number of times needed to call the collection APIs. In addition, make use of the Change Log endpoint to catch updates to headshots and logos.
