NFL: Retractable Roof Status and Expanded Sack Data
🗓️ Release Date 08/26/2026
Ahead of the 2026 NFL season, two additions are now available in Radar360.
Retractable Roof Status — A new split and filter indicates whether a stadium's retractable roof was open or closed for a given game. Use it to compare team or player performance under open-roof and closed-roof conditions at venues with a retractable roof.
Expanded Sack Data — Play-level sack data now extends back to 1991. Sack leaders, sacks allowed, and matchup-level sack history can now be researched across more than three decades of games.
⭐ Benefit
Isolate the effect of playing conditions on results with a single filter, and run historical sack research — by defender, by quarterback, or by matchup — over a far deeper window than was previously available.
📊 Example Reports
| Addition | Available From | Example Report |

NCAA Football: Player Season Eligibility, QB Starts, and Expanded Scoring Data
🗓️ Release Date 08/24/2026
Ahead of the 2026 college football season, four additions are now available in Radar360.
Historical Class by Season — A new split and filter, Player Season Eligibility, lets you scope any query to a player's class in a given season. Single-season records by freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors can now be researched back to 2000.
QB Starts — Full quarterback start data now extends back to 2000, covering every game rather than a partial history.
Points Scored and Allowed Through Quarter — Quarter-by-quarter scoring data has been expanded back to 2003, enabling comeback, halftime-margin, and quarter-specific research over a much longer window.
Biggest Lead and Deficit — New game-level fields capture the largest lead and largest deficit each team faced during a game, available back to 2003.
⭐ Benefit
Ask class-specific questions ("most passing yards in a season by a freshman") directly, trace quarterback lineage across a program's history, and quantify in-game swings — comebacks, blown leads, and largest margins — with data that reaches back to the early 2000s.
📊 Example Reports
| Addition | Available From | Example Report |
|---|---|---|
| Historical Class by Season | 2000 | Most passing yards in a single season by a freshman |
| QB Starts | 2000 | USC's starting quarterback in every season opener since 2000 |
| Points Scored and Allowed Through Quarter | 2003 | Largest halftime deficits overcome in bowl games |
| Biggest Lead and Deficit | 2003 | Games in which both teams led by 21 or more points |

MLB: Inside-the-Park Home Runs
🗓️ Release Date 07/15/2026
With play resuming after the All-Star break, a new statistic is available in Radar360: Inside-the-Park Home Runs, with history back to 1974.
The stat is available on both sides of the ball, so it can be researched as a hitting outcome (inside-the-park home runs hit) or as a pitching outcome (inside-the-park home runs allowed), and aggregated at the player, team, or season level.
⭐ Benefit
One of baseball's rarest plays can now be searched, filtered, and ranked across more than 50 seasons — by hitter, by pitcher, or by team — without manual play-by-play review.
📊 Example Reports
| Report | Scope |
|---|---|
| Inside-the-park home runs in 2026 | Current season |
| Most inside-the-park home runs allowed by active pitchers | Active pitchers |
| Teams with multiple inside-the-park home runs in a season | Since 2020 |
