Which sports and leagues are available?
Currently, we have NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, NCAA Men's Basketball, and NCAA Football. We anticipate having WNBA, Women’s NCAA Basketball, and a variety of global soccer leagues & tournaments in the future.
Does AI Researcher go outside of Sportradar for answers?
The model itself is trained on global information. For example, it knows things like "homer" means "home runs" and that "The Big Unit" is Randy Johnson, but the only statistical data that AI Researcher references is from within the trusted, QA’d, Sportradar ecosystem.
How far back does the data in AI Researcher go?
This varies based on sport and data referenced, but in general the data goes at least as far back as the data in Radar360, and sometimes further, as AI Researcher also references data used by our team of Broadcast Researchers.
What kind of questions can I ask AI Researcher?
AI Researcher accepts both statistical and non-statistical questions. For example, you can ask AI Researcher ‘How many home runs did Aaron Judge hit last season?’ You can also ask AI Researcher: ‘Tell me three interesting things about Aaron Judge’.
What types of questions should I avoid?
At the moment, AI Researcher does not have access to reliable injury or transaction data. We recommend avoiding questions in those areas
AI Researcher will not give advice. For example, you cannot ask ‘Who should I pick to win this game?’ or ‘Which player is a better fantasy play?’
Feel free to share information with AI Researcher. For example, if you ask AI Researcher how Rafael Devers has performed pre- and post-trade, and mention that he moved from the Red Sox to the Giants, AI Researcher is able deduce from game logs that he changed teams and can give you a before-and-after answer.
Does AI Researcher have access to any gambling-related data?
AI Researcher has access to the same gambling data as Radar360, so you may ask questions like ‘How has this team performed against the spread?’ and ‘Who has the best record over the last 3 seasons as an underdog?’
