MLB v8 API Release
We’re thrilled to announce the release of MLB API Version 8! This update is loaded with exciting new endpoints, enhanced data points, and valuable improvements designed to elevate your experience and provide richer insights for your applications.
Odds Comparison APIs - Sport Event Status
We've added a status indicator to all sport events covered in our v2 Odds Comparison APIs. Use this new data point (sport_event
.status
) to track the live progress of games with odds available.
IndyCar & Indy Lights APIs - Laps Completed
We've added laps
and laps_completed
at the race level for the IndyCar and Indy Lights APIs. This info is already available in the Formula 1, Formula E, and MotoGP APIs.
MLB API - New Pitch Outcomes
We've added five pitch outcome_id
values to account for new MLB rules violations. See below for the new values and their definitions.
NASCAR API - Practice & Qualifying Details
We've added five practice and qualifying data points to the NASCAR Schedule endpoint. Use these attributes to easily grab statuses and start times for a race's practices and qualifiers.
Formula 1 API - Competitor Abbreviations
We've added competitor abbreviations to the Stage Summary endpoint. Previously only available in the Competitor Profile endpoint, you may now access these abbreviations (ex. NOR
for Lando Norris) directly in a race result.
Global Ice Hockey API - Goaltender Goals Conceded
We've added a goaltender 'goals conceded' statistic at the game level for all leagues at Tier 1 coverage. Use this attribute (player.goals_conceded
) to help calculate goaltender save percentages in games with a goaltending substitution. In these cases, total shots on goal may not align with a single goaltender.
Indoor Volleyball - Aggregate Scores and Winners
We've added support for aggregate home/away scores and winner ids to all relevant matches in the Indoor Volleyball v2 API. Use these new data points to determine an overall winner in cases of multiple-event matches.
Images API - NFL Logos Removal
We have removed NFL Logos from our Images API as of January 2025.
NASCAR API - Driver Standings Weekly Movement
We've added a gained_lost
data point for drivers in the Driver Standings and Rookie Standings endpoints. This represents the change in a drivers's standing rank from the previous week (ex. 2
or -1
).
