NASCAR API – Replay Simulations

We've added replay simulation coverage for NASCAR in our API Simulations tool. NASCAR is now selectable through the same Simulations/Replay API as every other sport, with recorded race weekends covering practice, qualifying, and the race itself.

Build and test NASCAR integrations against a real recorded race weekend on demand, instead of waiting for a live race. You can exercise race, practice, and qualifying status transitions, flag-state changes, and the lap-by-lap leaderboard updates that only occur while a race is running — at any time, including outside the NASCAR season.

📋 Recommended Actions

Pass a series alias as the league value on both the recordings query and the replay path: mc (Cup), or (O'Reilly Auto Parts), or cw (Trucks).
Read the feed list from the apis array on the recording response rather than hardcoding it. NASCAR recordings expose nascar-race-leaderboard, nascar-practice-leaderboard, and nascar-qualifying-leaderboard — not the boxscore / game / pbp / rosters set used by the league sports. Passing a feed name from another sport's example returns an error rather than data.
Check availability per series. Recording coverage varies by series, so query each alias you care about rather than assuming all three are populated. At release, one Cup Series (mc) recording is available; additional races will follow soon.
Both json and xml are available on every NASCAR feed — set contentType to match the format your integration consumes.
