US League APIs – Jersey Number Documentation Corrected to String
The documented data type for jersey and jersey_number has been corrected from Integer to String across the NFL, NCAA Football, UFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, NCAA Men's Basketball, NCAA Women's Basketball, Unrivaled, and NCAA Men's Ice Hockey reference pages, including supported earlier documentation versions. The APIs have always returned these values as strings (values such as 00 are valid jersey numbers), so no API behavior has changed; documentation now matches the payloads.
In addition, defensive sack fields documented as Decimal now note that values can include halves when players are credited with half a sack, and the NFL Push Pulse feed's defense sack_yards type has been corrected to Decimal.
