Soccer APIs – Season Venues Endpoint

We've added a Season Venues endpoint to our Soccer APIs.

This RESTful endpoint returns all venues associated with a given season — including venue name, city, country, capacity, coordinates, and timezone — in a single call, so you can build venue lists, maps, or filters without walking through each match's venue block. Each venue also includes a long_name field with a more descriptive form of the name (typically stadium name plus location).

📋 Recommended Actions

Call the Season Venues endpoint once per season to retrieve all associated venues, rather than iterating through match schedules to collect venue data.
Use the returned name, city_name, and country_name for display, and map_coordinates for mapping features.
Prefer name for common venue display (e.g. "McDonald Jones Stadium") and long_name for a more descriptive form that includes location context (e.g. "Newcastle Stadium - Newcastle").
The endpoint is available in both the Soccer API and Soccer Extended API — use whichever matches your existing integration.
