Probabilities API – Timeline Endpoint Now Includes Pre-Match Probabilities

We've expanded the Timeline endpoint of our Probabilities API to return a complete chronological probability history for a sport event. The feed now includes pre-match probability changes in addition to the in-game changes it already returned.

Previously, the Timeline endpoint returned only in-game probability movement. It now returns the full history — from the earliest pre-match probability through the final whistle — in a single call, including for completed matches.

Retrieve the full probability movement for a sport event in a single call — ideal for post-match analysis, probability-movement visualizations, and editorial storytelling that compares pre-match expectations against how a game actually played out.

📋 Recommended Actions

Expect Timeline responses to be larger than before, with pre-match <market> entries preceding the first in-game entry. Timestamps on the pre-match entries can precede kickoff by weeks.
To scope to in-game movement only, filter the returned <market> entries by comparing each last_updated timestamp against the sport event's start_time.
Use the complete history for post-match analysis, probability-movement charts, and comparisons of pre-match expectations against the final result.
