# NCAA & WNBA APIs – Awards Endpoints

We've added two new awards-based endpoints to the following APIs: NCAA Football, NCAA Men's Basketball, NCAA Women's Basketball, and WNBA. Use these feeds to access award definitions and seasonal award recipients.

* **Awards List**: Provides a list of all awards available in the API.
* **Seasonal Awards**: Provides all award recipients for a given season and season type.
⭐ **Benefit**

With these endpoints, access award data for honors such as Most Valuable Player, National Champions, Heisman Trophy winners, Rookies of the Year, and more. Track annual recipients going forward to enrich your player and team profiles.
📋 **Recommended Actions**

* Call the **Awards List** endpoint to retrieve all award definitions for a league (league-wide, no season parameter), and **Seasonal Awards** to retrieve recipients for a given season year and season type.
* Note the two endpoints have different request shapes: Awards List is `/league/awards/list`, while Seasonal Awards takes a season year and type (e.g. `/seasons/2025/REG/awards`). Map each per endpoint rather than assuming one path.
* Use the `type` field (e.g. `player`, `team`, `coach`) to route each award to the right entity, and handle awards with multiple recipients (e.g. All-America teams return several winners under one award).
* Join recipients to your existing player and team records via the returned `id` values to enrich profiles with honors.
