# NCAA Basketball APIs – Game-Level Tournament Seed

We've added tournament seed information at the game level for our NCAA <Anchor target="_blank" href="https://developer.sportradar.com/basketball/reference/ncaamb-overview">Men's</Anchor> and <Anchor target="_blank" href="https://developer.sportradar.com/basketball/reference/ncaawb-overview">Women's</Anchor> Basketball APIs.

Going forward, locate each team's tournament `seed` in the relevant **Game** endpoint (Boxscore, Play-by-Play, Summary).

⭐ **Benefit**

For NCAA Tournament games, easily capture and display each team's tournament seed from the game feed — without the need to sync to the Schedule feed(s).

📋 **Recommended Actions**

* Read each team's `seed` from the Game feeds (Boxscore, Play-by-Play, Summary) to display tournament seeding directly, without cross-referencing the Series or Schedule feeds.
* Note the **location differs by feed and format**: in some feeds `seed` sits on the `team` nodes (e.g. Men's Game Summary), in others on the `home`/`away` objects (e.g. Women's Play-by-Play). Map per feed rather than assuming one path.
* Handle non-tournament cases: confirm what `seed` returns for teams or games outside the tournament (e.g. `0` or absent) and guard your display so unseeded teams don't render as "seed 0."
