# NBA G League Change Log

Find all updates to the NBA G League v8 API and its documentation

## Deleted Games and Estimated Return Date

:spiral\_calendar: **Release Date** 10/09/2026

We've added support for deleted games and an estimated return date for injuries in our <Anchor target="_blank" href="https://developer.sportradar.com/basketball/reference/g-league-overview">NBA G League API</Anchor>.

* `deleted`: `true` when a game has been removed from coverage (for example, a duplicate or erroneously created game). The game stays available in the Schedule, Daily Schedule, and Game feeds, and the flag is present only when `true`.
* `deleted_games`: an array of removed game IDs in the **Schedule** endpoint.
* `estimated_return_date`: the date a player is expected to return from injury, on each injury in the **Injuries** endpoint. Optional; present when an estimate is available.

⭐ **Benefit**

Keep stored game IDs valid without re-ingesting the full schedule, and show expected availability alongside a player's injury status.

📋 **Recommended Actions**

* Drop any stored game ID that appears in `deleted_games`, and exclude games flagged `deleted` from statistics, standings, and displays.
* Treat `estimated_return_date` as optional and show it next to the injury status when present.

        Both formats follow the ISO 8601 standard and represent the same UTC time. However, older games or data may still include the previous format.

        This update applies to the following fields:

        * `game.scheduled` — in **Daily Schedule** and **Schedule** endpoints
        * `player.updated` — in **Player Profile**, **Free Agents**, and **Team Profile** endpoints
        * `last_modified` — in **Daily Change Log** and **Daily Transfers** endpoints

        * _How it works_*:

        Request a list of available recordings by league.

        For a normal GET game feed:

          <li>Register a session for the game feed(s) you are interested in playing back.</li>
          <li>Start your session on your schedule – no more waiting for simulated games to start at a predefined time.</li>
          <li>Continually call the endpoint for updates as one would during a live game.</li>
        </ul>
