# Overview

The NBA G League API delivers schedules, live scores, full boxscores and play-by-play, standings and rankings, playoff series, team and player profiles, and league-wide player movement (transfers and free agents) for the NBA G League, all through one consistent set of feeds.

This integration guide is a set of task-oriented pages: foundational pages that explain how the API is organized, and scenario pages that each walk one integration goal end to end with request and response samples.

## The League in One Call

A single request returns the league and every season on file, including the current season structure. A selection from the response, showing the four phases of the 2025-26 season:

The G League year runs in phases, each addressed as its own season type: the Showcase Cup (`SC`) from November to late December, the Showcase Cup Championship (`SCC`), the Regular Season (`REG`) from late December to late March, and the Post-season (`PST`) in April. ## What the API Provides

* **Schedules**: full-season, daily, and playoff-series schedules with venues, broadcasts, and coverage flags
* **Live game data**: score, clock, and full team and player statistics from <Anchor label="Game Summary" target="_blank" href="ref:g-league-game-summary">Game Summary</Anchor>, top performers from <Anchor label="Game Boxscore" target="_blank" href="ref:g-league-game-boxscore">Game Boxscore</Anchor>, and an event-level stream from <Anchor label="Game Play-by-Play" target="_blank" href="ref:g-league-play-by-play">Game Play-by-Play</Anchor> with shot locations and possession
* **Standings and rankings**: conference and division tables with 30+ record splits, plus rankings with clinch markers
* **Playoffs and tournaments**: the postseason bracket as linked series, series-level statistics, and the Showcase Cup
* **Rosters and players**: team profiles with rosters and franchise honors, player profiles with per-season statistics, league leaders, free agents, and daily transfers
* **Change detection**: a daily change log listing every player, game, and team whose data changed that day

Both `json` and `xml` are available on every feed, carrying the same data.
